Sean Curley

Sean Curley was born in Southport in the North West of England in 1966 and moved to the South of England with his parents in 1980. He now lives in Poole, Dorset with his wife Andrea. Sean began painting at an early age and made the conscious decision to become a self–taught artist. He first began painting with oils in his early teens and began exhibiting his art upon graduating from University in the late 1980s, turning professional around 10 years later.

Since becoming a professional artist, Sean has exhibited his art extensively in galleries throughout England and also in Ireland and France. Currently, Sean exhibits in the UK with galleries such as the Peter Hedley Gallery, Wareham, Wimbledon Fine Art, London and the Montpellier Gallery, Stratford-upon-Avon. Sean also holds regular solo exhibitions at venues in the South of England, such as Highcliffe Castle, the RNLI and Upton Country Park as well as being included in several solo and mixed exhibitions at the galleries at which he is represented both in the UK and abroad.
