Nitin Vadukul
(b.1965) Nairobi, Kenya


Nitin Vadukul was born in Nairobi, Kenya in 1965. He spent the first four years of his life in Nairobi before having to move to London with his family due to political unrest.

Vadukul was educated in London and it was at the age of eight that he developed a passion for art. He was fascinated with the realms of the subconscious and dreams and became submerged in the infinite corridors of creativity within these worlds.

Through the meticulous process of experimentations with photography, painting, drawing and cinematography Vadukul began to develop his sense of seeing past the visible and into the invisible, ultimately creating his unique way of seeing.

His work combines a world of images that have a deep metaphorical sense. Vadukul’s photography led work has been featured in a series of solo and group exhibitions in USA, UK, Japan, France, Germany and Russia.

He lives and works in New York City
