Keith Shaw
Keith Shaw’s work takes you
flying through a diverse range of environments. From the dazzling
Serengeti to a Cornish village, on to the bitter highlands and
finally over to an East coast fishing village for supper.
His well known pieces “Elephants at Dusk” and “Giraffes
at Dusk” have a personal benchmark of quality and depth
resonating in a solid composure. In these pieces it seems as though
both sets of animals are making an arduous journey across their
intense landscape.
His work with the sea is weighted with symbolism and just a quick
glance over the moody clouds hanging over a frail fishing village
can be distinctly understood and felt by the viewer.
Keith Shaw is the father of internationally recognised artist
Jonathan Shaw and continues to be a great choice for lovers of
British art from across the UK and beyond.
