Jef
Lenaers
Abstract artist
b.1943 - Kempen, Belgium
Jef Lenaers was born in Kempen, Belgium in
1943. He studied at the academy of art in Beeldende Kunsten
Mol from 1962 - 1969 and is now a member of the famous Belgium
art group “Hat Pallet.”
He has always painted in a colourful style
that harmonises with the painting. His intense interest in
shapes and patterns help him to construct his work, an important
element in the abstract pieces he produces. His use of paint
on the canvas creates an array of textures that are achieved
by using both brush and palette knife.
Jef is also a keen ceramist in the modern
styles, which he has received high acclaim. Including his
sought after abstract work, his portfolio features his paintings
of flowers, city scenes, harbour impressions and his recognised
landscapes.
Lenaers’ original work can be seen
in leading art galleries across Europe and the UK. |
